Searching The Collections
There are many ways to search and browse the digitised collections of the National Library; namely:
- The digiDo Search Engine
The digiDo search engine contains all of The National Library of Wales’ digitised content that is either:
– Out of copyright OR
– Copyright is owned by The National Library of Wales
Currently the website features over 20,000 images.
This search engine is for those looking to use some of our collections commercially. Therefore, it does not include items that might have copyright restrictions. This means that items found through this resource can be used in product creation.

The Welsh Newspapers Online is a *NEW* website from the National Library of Wales that allows you to browse and search over 100 titles from its rich collection of pre-1910 newspapers.
You are able, not only to browse digital copies of the original newspapers but also to search for words, names and dates across 1 million pages.
